Project assumptions
Capital injections
Extra capital spent partway through the project. Debt % is the share funded by new debt, drawn at the end of that year and repaid in level instalments at the same interest rate over the loan term (fewer years if the project ends sooner). The rest is funded by new equity, so use 0% for equity only. The split for the original capex is set by Debt share of capex above. Foreign amounts use the rate for that year. Injections dated outside years 1 to the project length are ignored. Injection debt is not sculpted: a sculpted main loan is sized around it.
Foreign currency rates (estimates)
Rates are foreign currency per 1 AUD, so AUDUSD 0.70 means 1 AUD = 0.70 USD (70 US cents). A foreign amount is divided by the rate to get AUD. Change %/yr is the expected yearly move in the rate: positive means the AUD strengthens, so foreign cash flows are worth fewer AUD. The rates below are illustrative placeholders, not live rates. Everything in the model is shown in AUD.

Debt repays as a level annuity over the loan term. In sculpted mode, each year's debt service is CFADS divided by the target DSCR, and the debt is sized so the loan clears exactly at the end of the term (capped at the debt share of capex). Depreciation is straight-line over the operating years. Tax is charged on positive taxable profit only, with no loss carry-forward. DSCR is cash flow available for debt service divided by interest plus principal. Amounts are nominal. Foreign-currency inputs are converted to AUD at the rate for the year of each cash flow (spot × (1 + annual change)^year), and capex at the year 0 rate. All figures are in AUD.
